Nigeriaquotes Ecobank H1 pre-tax profit falls 62%

Nigeriaquotes Ecobank said on 28 July 2010 its H1 pre-tax profit fell 62% to NGN 2.38bn (USD 16m) from NGN 6.25bn a year earlier. Gross earnings declined to NGN 25.58bn in the same period from NGN 30.63bn a year ago, it said in a filing to the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
