Company to invest USD 40m in coal mining

Makomo Resources Private limited, a company owned by a consortium of Zimbabwean businessman, will sink USD 40m in coal exploration at Entuba coalfields in Hwange. The Entuba coalfields have a lifespan of a 100years. The company envisages producing at least 60,000 tonnes of coal in the first month which will then rise to 150,000 tonnes per month at full capacity.
