Things not looking too good on the Gaborone bourse today as Primetime (unch, $12k) accounting for 63% of total turnover while the rest of the market was dead.
The NSE20 closed lower today down -19bps, with loses in Uchumi (-4.8%, KES 3.00), and KNAL (-4.00%, KES15.50). While turnover was dominated by Kenol ($4.8m), Safcom ($4.2m) and Equity ($2.3m). There was also some small action in Kengen (+4.07%, KES8.95) which release 1H18 results with revenue up 5.5% YoY.
Things getting better on the Mauritius bourse as MCBG (unch, Rs272.00) and its banking peer SBMH (-0.8%, 7.60) once again dominating today's proceedings amounting to a collective 45% of the market while Rs76m changed hands. NMH (-0.2%, Rs25.25), ENL Land (unch, Rs44.60) and United Basalt Products (unch, Rs136.75) all had semi decent days.
Not a bad way to start the week in Lagos today with the ASI appreciating by +2bps, the banking index up +28bps and consumer index also up 78bps. Turnover was driven by CCNN (Unch, N16.85), Dangcem (-0.38%, N259.00) and NB (Unch, N130.00)

A rather quiet way to start the week in Harare even though market turnover increased by 18% from Friday’s session of $758k. Today’s action was spread across the board with the likes of Old Mutual (520.00c, $299.57k) accounting for almost a third of the market while the usual suspects in the form of Innscor (92.25c, $187.11) and Hippo Valley (170.00c, $170.00k) had decent days, relatively speaking, accounting for a combined 37% of the market.
