The little volume the stock exchange experienced was divided mostly across a handful of names with Primetime ($15.84k) accounting for 47% of the market, Choppies ($10.66k) and FNBB ($5.37k) making up the numbers.
Another negative day in Nairobi as foreign participation increased to 59%. KNCB was the most dominant name on the day, accounting for 48% of turnover, while Safaricom was the second most active name, accounting for 27% of turnover.
The market took a negative turn as the index declined by 8bps, with only the Financials closing higher. FBNH and Guaranty dominated the turnover, accounting for 19% and 15% respectively.

The mainstream index continues southwards with today’s turnover skewed by a handful of securities including Delta (+0.51%, $1.5832), OML (+2.96%, $5.0939) and Seedco (unch, $2.00).
