A dull way to kick off the week in Gaborone with BTCL ($22k) being the lions share of the market, there was nothing more more to report.
Todays market turnover was down 36.8% to $2.8m. Safaricom came out as the top mover while closing 0.9% lower at KES26.25 on the back of net foreign selling. EABL notably declined 5.3% to KES231.00 which was one of the major losers on the back of net foreign selling. Equity Bank was down 3.1% to close at KES39.00 with foreigners doing the bulk of the selling once again. The NSE20 and the NASI dropped 0.1% and 0.9% respectively to 3,714.15 and 170.00. Foreign investors dominated trading with 76% of participation levels, accounting for 69.8% of total purchasing and 82.3% of the total selling.
An average day in Port Louis with most of the action in the usual suspect MCBG (unch, Rs270.00) as 76k shares changing hands.
A quiet day to start the week in Nigeria, as the index closed lower. The only counter to break the $1m mark was Guranty trading $1.1m unchanged at N40.50 the only other ticker worth mentioning was FBNH declining 0.44% trading at N8.96.

The Industrial index recovered to close the day 6.25 points firmer on the back of gains in Econet (+12.35%), Seedco (+14.29%) and Simbisa (+5.97%). Activity was dominated by Seedco ($400k), OML ($109k) and Axia ($90k). The rest of the market was quiet.
